Camera Port Termination Jumpers
The MVS-8100C uses eight 2-pin headers to select between 75 Ohm or high impedance
termination of the video input lines. An uncovered jumper block provides a
high-impedance input. To terminate a video input port with a 75-Ohm resistor, cover the
jumper block in the positions shown in Table 16.
The MVS-8100C ships with 75 Ohm termination selected for all video input lines (all
termination jumpers are installed). This setting is correct for the majority of installations.
Light Ports
The MVS-8100C uses one or two 8-pin DIN connectors for the connection of light
modules, as described in Installing Light Control Hardware on page 25.
The light port on the MVS-8100C’s back panel breaks out into light ports 0 and 1,
corresponding to camera ports 0 and 1. The light port on the camera port Expansion
panel breaks into light ports 2 and 3.
