Table 18 shows the pinout both of the J5 connector on the MVS-8100C and of the 8-pin

DIN light port on the camera port expansion panel.

Output Power Indicator LEDs

Eight LEDs on the top edge of the MVS-8100C show the status of the resettable fuses

for the camera ports and for each camera’s associated light control port. The LEDs are

normally illuminated when power is on. When an LED is off, it indicates an overcurrent

fault on the associated device port. The ports are protected by PolySwitch resettable

fuses, so removing the overcurrent condition should re-illuminate the LED.

Note Overcurrent conditions should be corrected immediately.

If all eight indicators are out, it indicates a bad power source, or that the replaceable

fuse at board position F9 is blown. Figure 19 associates each camera and light port with

its indicator LED.
